The remainder of my practice focuses on anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, phobias, panic disorder, and agoraphobia), trauma, substance use, and ADHD.
Modalities:
I practice from a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, incorporating a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) framework into sessions. CBT is an evidence-based psychotherapy considered the gold standard for treating many mental health concerns.
I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual. I often draw from various therapeutic modalities to ensure I meet your specific needs.
Credentials:
I graduated with my BA in Psychology from Lakehead University and completed my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. During my time at Yorkville University, I completed an internship in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where I practiced as a clinician seeing individuals aged 14 and older. I have training in CBT, DBT, ACT, CPT, EFT, ERP, and the Gottman Method. I am committed to continuing my education and staying up to date on the therapeutic modalities I primarily use in my practice.

I work from a trauma-informed and culturally competent perspective. I utilize a variety of frameworks, including CBT, ERP, DBT, Narrative Therapy, SFT, and EFT. My therapeutic approach is tailored to your specific needs, goals, and experiences. I am client-centered and strength-based at the foundation of my treatment. I also believe in a holistic treatment ideology, considering the entire human being including aspects of the mind body soul and spirit into treatment.
Credentials:
I graduated with my BA in Criminology and Justice studies with a minor in Forensic Psychology from Ontario Tech University. I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Having worked alongside individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and in various clinical settings, I understand how these differences can impact us. I am currently also working toward completion of a certification in Nutrition Coaching from the National Sports Academy of Medicine.
A Little Bit About Me:
In my free time I enjoy eating new foods (I am a big foodie), working out, cooking, hiking/walking my dog Maverick, and spending time with friends and family. Additionally, I have a deep passion for travelling and experiencing different countries and cultures all around the world. I have been involved in leading groups of people on humanitarian trips around the world, helping those in need.
